Our almond flour has 7 g of carbohydrates per 100 g. Compared to conventional wheat flour, it thus has about 87-95% less carbohydrates.
Ground almonds are, as the name suggests, almonds that have been ground. Almond flour, on the other hand, is obtained from deoiled almonds. By removing the oil, it has less fat than ground almonds.

Almond flour, like wheat flour, can be used in baking. Even though you can't replace wheat flour 100% with almond flour, you can incorporate it into many popular recipes. It should be noted that almond flour has a slightly sweet and nutty taste and binds significantly more water than conventional wheat flour.

In many macaron recipes, almond flour actually means ground almonds. In this case, to use almond flour is rather unsuitable, because it is deoiled and therefore drier than ground almonds. It is therefore advisable to a) adjust the amount of liquid ingredients, b) use our ground al monds or c) to use our blanched al monds. You can then put them in a blender, pass them through a sieve et voilá - you have ground almonds, ready for the macaron dough.
Almonds are naturally gluten-free. However, cross-contamination with gluten may occur during the filling process, as our fillers also process foods containing gluten. For this reason, we do not describe our almond flour as gluten-free.
As long as you consume almond flour in normal quantities during pregnancy, we do not see any problem. However, if you are unsure, you should always seek the advice of your doctor.

food that can not miss in the pantry

I love this flour, as well as the peanut flour! They are de-oiled flour, which is super useful on low carb days (which I adopt when I'm not working out). They are also very useful because they tend to absorb more liquid and allow for really satisfying breakfasts/meals with just a few ingredients!

Super flour substitute

Super substitute for normal flour. Takes a little better the liquid and you do not need as much almond flour as normal flour for baking. It is sweeter in the aftertaste and is therefore better suited for baking cakes or sweet dishes.

Tasty product, although the taste could be a little more intense. Nevertheless, for the price super and not to be found in other stores for it. Have baked cinnamon buns with it, for which it was also top.
