
Porridge can be really bland if you don't add a few ingredients to give it a kick! This recipe combines the classic breakfast with great ingredients to give you energy in the morning. Not forgetting of course some fruit for color and vitamins and a touch of chocolate to complete the recipe! What better way to start the day!
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of raisins
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of peanut flour
- 1 tablespoonalmond powder
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 cup of soy milk
- 100 g oatmeal
- water
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon of flax seeds
- Toppings: nuts, raisins, cranberries, chocolate chips, fresh fruit...
Preparation
First, soften the raisins in the milk for at least 30 minutes.
Then put this mixture in a saucepan over medium heat with the oats, almond powder and cinnamon and stir gently.
Let the mixture cook gently. Reduce the heat to low as soon as the mixture starts to boil.
You can then add the maple syrup, one cup of water, the peanut flour, salt and flax seeds.
Turn off the heat, cover the mixture and let it rest for a few minutes.
Meanwhile, you can prepare the toppings.
Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the toppings of your choice.
