Everything at a glance Organic Brooks mango stripes

You like dried mangoes? Then you’ll love our mango of the Brooks variety, the most popular in our shop. Extremely juicy, slightly sour and yet pleasantly sweet, it convinces every gourmet immediately. The mango belongs to the sumac family and is botanically related to pistachios and cashew nuts. The mango originally comes from India and is mostly cultivated in the tropical rainforest. The dried mango comes from controlled organic cultivation and we deliberately refrain from using any other additives. Due to the gentle drying process, the taste remains naturally sweet, a treatment with sulphur is not necessary. Our dried mango is an ideal power snack. Since it tastes wonderfully sweet and fruity, it quickly became the absolute favorite of our customers. It is also suitable to refine your muesli and also in salad it provides that certain exotic extra. Our tip: if you like the mango a little more tender, you can soak it for about 30 minutes.

Varieties and origins

India is the first mango producer in the world: in 2017, more than 50 thousand tons of mangoes were grown worldwide, of which almost 20 thousand came from India. Other Asian countries such as China, Thailand and Indonesia also cultivate a large number of mangoes. Native to the tropical rainforest, mango has been cultivated there for over 4,000 years in India, where they are considered the national fruit, and Myanmar. Incidentally, the mango came to Europe through Portuguese seafarers in the 16th century.

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

Super tasty, fruity, inexpensive

I ordered a week ago for the first time because I was dissatisfied with the mango strips from the drugstore (much too hard and dry and also more expensive than here). Yesterday I ordered mango again because our 1 kg bag is half empty. The mango strips have a great consistency, remind me of Moam chewy sweets, not too hard and not too soggy. Plus they are much healthier and my kids prefer to eat them than some candy. They are sweet but not too sweet and very fruity, like a fresh mango, not artificial or weird. You have something to chew on and don't eat as much of it as you would candy. Goes but also super cut into the muesli. Price-performance ratio is top. I now always buy here.

Very disappointed with the new harvest

I am almost addicted to your mangos, unfortunately the 3kg mangos of the last delivery are not tasty, tough and sour.
I will order them again at a later date and hope they taste good again

Natural product

Organic mango are already super expensive fresh, so the price here is totally fine. They taste good, somewhat acidic. The typical furry-crispy, which often occurs in unsweetened dry mangoes, was also present here. - You just have to put up with it. Who does not like it, try dried hong melon.

The mango strips convince us of the taste. You

The mango strips convince us of the taste. They are great as a snack for Zwischendruch. Sometimes one or the other strip is quite hard, so we have deducted one star. The price is cheaper than a comparable product from the supermarket and of course more sustainable in the large packaging.

Great "healthier" snack when the pieces are still

Great "healthier" snack, if the pieces were a little softer, it would be perfect, but even so they are still significantly chewier than some supermarket / drugstore alternative. Next time 2 kg will be bought and shared again with the family
