There is probably no bean which is as versatile as the soya bean. In the form of tofu, milk, sauce, or snack, soya beans are always amazing and tasty. Even the colour range goes from light green to a yellowish beige! But that is not enough for us, so we introduce to you the black variation of the all rounder.

In the western world, the soya bean is very popular, but only few know the black version of the bean. It is not used in many dishes and that might be because in its raw form it has a very distinguished smell. It can be a bit quenching at first but if you get over that first impression you can smell a strong peppery vanilla note. After cooking the smell settles down and is mild and nice. We roasted and salted them as well and that's how they become a slighty spicey, salty and sweet snack with a mild bitter aroma at the end.

We recommend you are not only using them as a snack but get creative and put them on your salads or spice up your next Asian wok pan.

Important for a healthy lifestyle is, among other things, a balanced and varied diet. However, everyone defines this differently for themselves, so we avoid dividing our products into these categories. As always, "Balance is key!". Soya beans score high on their crunchy, salty flavour, which is a protein-rich alternative to chips or pretzel sticks. They also have a high fibre content (10 g/ 100 g) and a high protein content (47 g/ 100 g).
Yes, the roasted and salted soya beans are vegan.
Soya beans are legumes that have been cultivated in Japan since 3050 BC! Soya is probably the most versatile bean: It can be used, for example, to make tofu, tempeh, soya sauce, soya drinks, Socas flakes and a variety of delicious meat substitutes. These also include our vegan Mexico-style sauteed meat or soya medallions. Not to forget our crispy soy snacks, like the Soya Protein Crispies or the Rice Cracker Soya Cookies!
With 47 grams of protein per 100 grams, the protein content of soya beans is very high. You can read all the nutritional values in the table next to or below the product description.
Unfortunately, many still associate soy with the terms "genetic engineering" and "rainforest clearing". It is true that the majority of soybeans come from Brazil and the USA and are even genetically modified. However, these soybeans are used to produce animal feed. The soy products that are produced in Germany for direct consumption are precisely not from these areas. Typical countries of origin are China, Canada, Austria, France and sometimes even Germany.
No, the roasting is done without fat.
The beans are not only a delicious snack, but can also convince on salad.
The soybean belongs to the legumes and is one of the most important crops of all.
Originally, the soybean comes from China.

Fine. Could use a little more salt.

Well done, but I personally like the green edamame better. It could use a little more salt.

Great alternative to chips and nuts

Great alternative to chips and nuts. However, the greens taste even better to us. My also thinks that the could be saltier, for me they are salty enough.
