Everything at a glance Soy protein crispies 60%

Some extra protein anyone? Our protein crispies are soy-based and high in protein, with 60 g per 100 g, and manufactured in Germany (GMO-free). But why is it, that those small beads are so full of protein, so light, and super tasty? Their protein content comes from our old friend the soybean, which is naturally high-protein.

Are you curious to know how we get crispies out of beans? To manufacture the crispies, the food industry uses a procedure called extrusion, which is used to form and shape high-protein raw materials: in our case, a mixture of soy, corn, and water is heated up, compressed and pushed through a valve: by passing through this valve, the mix experiences a pressure drop and, as a result, it swells. Afterwards, the swollen tiny balls are left to dry up, and voilà! the beads have come into the world.

This high-protein, plant-based snack is ideal for all the athletes out there, but is also suitable for all people who love something crunchy and free of additives on their muesli.

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

Very tasty with super protein content.

Highly recommended! The crispies taste really good even pure with milk and that with really good nutritional values. The crispiness is really very good. I have already tried the Crispies with cottage cheese, pudding, yogurt, etc. and am very satisfied! Since the taste is not intrusive, it actually goes with everything :). SIe also make great as a crispy ingredient in a soup or broth. Clear buy recommendation.

Why salt?

Really - these soy crispies would be perfect! Consistency and bite are ingenious, nothing soaks up in the milk/liquid so quickly. They live up to their name. Great protein content!

But what's the salt doing in it? To preserve?
0.8 g/100 g is already on the level of real salty snacks. There are already more than enough salt springs spread over the day. But unfortunately I can actually taste it indirectly, which is unfortunately incompatible with muesli/yoghurt etc. for me. A great pity!

I would order a salt-free version immediately :-)

Hi Lisa, the salt content of 3.2 g/100 g is correct and not a typo. We are currently checking whether we can lower the salt content.

Der Salzgehalt liegt doch bei über 3g pro 100g? Find das auch viel zu viel!

In den Angaben steht ein Salzgehalt von 3,2g/100g ??? Ist das ein Tippfehler?

The soy protein crispies chocolate are definitely better, these are more neutral but also a bit more boring in taste, but they crunch well and good as a topping.
